Meet Magento 2025 occurred on January 24-25, 2025, in Pune, India. This first event of the year in India was outstanding and it has raised the bar for the upcoming events in 2025. Event Highlights from Meet Magento 2025

For the first time ever, Meet Magento India found its home in Pune, kicking off with an exciting two-day event. Day 1 was all about networking, insightful discussions, and discovering new opportunities. Sponsors showcased their expertise, products, and innovations, creating an atmosphere filled with collaboration and fresh ideas.

Klizer had the chance to engage in some incredible conversations, diving into topics like Hyva, Magento performance, and What Navigate Commerce in the future. Sharing this space with Magento Association, Mini Orange, Hyvä, and Luro Connect was an absolute pleasure, making meaningful connections throughout the day.

The evening wrapped up with a fantastic pre-party, hosted by Vatsal Shah, board member of the Magento Association.

Day 1: Klizer’s Stall Setup & Networking

The first day began with setting up the Klizer stall in the expo hall. The team was excited to showcase Klizer’s solutions and engage with attendees. After the setup, they took the opportunity to explore other exhibitor booths and connect with industry leaders. Some of the key exhibitors that the team interacted with included:

Day 2: Workshops & Sessions

The second day began with a warm welcome from J.P. Singh, CEO of Wagento, followed by a variety of sessions on business, technical, and workshop tracks. Our team attended sessions focused on emerging ecommerce trends, Magento’s future, and technical innovations. Key sessions included:

1. Magento Open Source: A Competitive Advantage for B2C and B2B eCommerce

This session discussed how Magento Open Source performs and scales. This showed why it’s a better option compared to other ecommerce platforms like Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, and Shopify.

2. PayPal Ecosystem Partner Model

Our team learned about PayPal’s tools for onboarding, payments, and risk management, with a highlight on Fastlane by PayPal, which simplifies payments using just email and OTP.

3. Magento Trends for 2025: Shaping the Future of eCommerce

Our expert, Divya Sree Ravi, Senior Software Engineer, presented this session in track 2. She discussed emerging ecommerce trends, including Progressive Web Apps (PWA), Headless Commerce, AI technologies, AR/VR, hyper-personalization, and enhanced security features.

4. Ease Third-Party Integrations with MageOS Async Events

In this session, the MageOS Async Events plugin was explained in detail. It helps simplify third-party integrations and enhances the user experience for Magento merchants.

5. The Story of Hyvä: Origins, Growth, and Future Vision

This session covered Hyvä’s performance-focused approach to Magento. It explained how it tackles common performance issues by using modern technologies like Tailwind CSS and Alpine JS.

6. Behind the Scenes of Keeping Magento Safe: Cybersecurity Techniques

The session focused on Magento’s advanced security measures, including identity and access management, disaster recovery, and adherence to security standards like GDPR and PCI DSS.
