We want every new joiner to have a smooth, comfortable, and welcoming start at Klizer.

Our onboarding process starts before you join and continues through your first few days, covering everything from hardware and documentation to team introduction, buddy support, and goal alignment.

Onboarding Process

Before You Join

Once your offer is accepted and your Date of Joining is confirmed, HR begins the pre-boarding process.

HR raises the required IT onboarding request so the IT team can prepare your laptop, system access, and other technical requirements.

Around one week before your Date of Joining, HR will introduce you to your Klizer Buddy.

Meet Your Buddy

Your buddy is your first point of contact for general questions and small doubts before and after you join.

Your buddy can help you understand:

  • How we work at Klizer
  • Team members and communication channels
  • Meeting and calendar practices
  • Common day-to-day processes
  • Who to contact for different requirements
  • What to expect during your first few days

Your Welcome Kit

As part of your onboarding experience, you will receive a Klizer Welcome Kit.

It may include:

  • A book
  • Neck pillow
  • Klizer T-shirt
  • Klizer bag
  • Other welcome items, wherever applicable

Your First Day

Your first day focuses on completing joining formalities, understanding Klizer, and getting familiar with how we work.

You will complete the required documentation, which may include:

  • Offer Letter
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Background Verification
  • Required employee records and documents

The Offer Letter and Confidentiality Agreement are completed through EchoSign. Background verification and required employee information are handled through the GreytHR portal.

HR will introduce you to Klizer, our culture, HR policies, the Code of Business Conduct, professional conduct, email etiquette, remote working practices, asynchronous communication, Google Calendar, Basecamp, and other important collaboration practices.

Team Integration

Your manager or team lead will help you get the project and team access you need.

This may include:

  • Jira
  • Basecamp
  • Project-specific tools and systems
  • Team email groups
  • Project repositories
  • Other required platforms

You will also be introduced to relevant team members and your immediate responsibilities and priorities.

Klizer 360

An official welcome post may be shared on Klizer 360 with your:

  • Welcome message
  • Photo or selfie
  • Role and designation
  • Team introduction
  • Buddy tag
  • Short introduction

This gives people across Klizer an opportunity to welcome you and helps you start building connections with the wider team.

Goal Alignment & Initial OKRs

During your initial onboarding period, you will connect with your manager or team lead to understand:

  • Your role and responsibilities
  • Immediate priorities
  • Team goals
  • Project expectations
  • Learning requirements
  • Key areas of contribution
  • Initial OKRs

You will also be introduced to the performance management and review process.

Things Every New Joiner Should Know

You do not need to know everything on Day One.

Start by knowing:

Who to ask: Your manager, buddy, HR, IT, and teammates are there to help.

Where to find information: Get familiar with the tools, documentation, communication channels, and resources your team uses.

How your team communicates: Understand where conversations, updates, meetings, and project information happen.

What you own: Be clear about your responsibilities, priorities, and commitments.

When to ask for help: Do not wait for a small question or blocker to become a bigger problem.

Our goal is simple: Feel Welcome → Meet the Buddy → Receive the Right Tools → Understand How We Work → Connect with the Team → Know Your Role → Set Your Goals → Start Your Klizer Journey with Confidence.
