After June 30, 2029, Epicor moves on-premises P21 customers to Sustaining Support. That means no new security patches, no compliance updates, and no fixes for new vulnerabilities. Your system will still run, but it will be an increasingly risky environment in which to operate a business.
It depends on the size of your environment, how many customizations you have, and how many integrations need to be rebuilt. Straightforward migrations take 6 to 9 months. Complex environments with heavy customizations and multiple integrations can take 12 to 18 months. We give you a realistic timeline after the discovery and audit phase, not a number designed to win the proposal.
Some will migrate cleanly. Others will need to be rebuilt. A small number should be retired altogether. We audit every DynaChange rule and business rule during the integration and customization audit phase so you know exactly what you are working with before cutover.
